Recruit. We have a problem. And a budget.

— Colonel Mercado, HQ

HQ has hired you to rescue the economy and save the market. Here’s how:

  1. AimYour units fire on their own. When a SHOT! reticle appears over an enemy, tap it to blow it up. If they launch a shell at you, shoot it down mid-air.
  2. EarnEvery enemy downed adds budget. Each world hides two or three bosses that pay more and drop their loot crate.
  3. UpgradeSpend on units, ammo and talents, and return to the front with more firepower than last time.

Choose your war

From the first shot to the orbital strike

From the Desert to the Crypto Node: 21 worlds with their own design, enemies and events. You bring the artillery; HQ brings the reinforcements.

Megalopolis · Financial District

Fire

When a SHOT! reticle appears over an enemy, tap it to blow it up. If they launch a shell at you, shoot it down mid-air. The waves never stop growing, and your artillery too.

“Launch confirmed. It’s on the Corporation calendar, and you’re on the March page.”

Air Strike

Call in reinforcements

Fighter squadrons above the clouds and bombers behind them. HQ pays. You shoot.

“Squadron on its way. Every bomb carries a sponsor’s logo. Aim well, they pay per hit.”

Orbital Strike

From orbit

Take down Archon-00, boss of the Sentinel Cosmodrome, and HQ reprograms him as a powerup. Ever since, he fires the orbital strike himself, floating above the Earth.

“Orbit reached! HQ satellites mark every weak point. They’re rented and charge by the minute.”

Coast · Mass Tourism

Every world has its event

At 11:05 every charter flight on the continent lands at once, the beach fills up and HQ declares a ceasefire to look good in the photos. Other worlds bring a sandstorm, a freeze, a toxic leak or abduction.

“HQ orders: ceasefire while there are tourists. Civilian casualties are not tax-deductible.”

Fight epic enemies

Aim at their parts, block their attacks and take their loot crate.

The Nadir Sleeper

Don’t wake him. Well, do.

The base awaits

Between battles you return to base. Military buildings give you combat bonuses, and you decorate the rest however you like while it comes alive: traffic, drills and air shows.

“Nice work. I’ve already ordered the ‘funded by HQ’ sign.”

Fire at the base
Resolve eventsPut out fires, break up protests and recover the boot the base dog ran off with. Every event resolved earns you merits to spend in the HQ Base.
Boss loot crate
Open the lootEvery boss drops its crate: rare, epic or legendary decoration for the HQ Base, and the odd piece that comes alive. They’re earned in combat, never with real money.

Paint Shop

156 paints for your 13 units, from rare to epic to legendary with effects. Seen in combat, in the arsenal and in the menu. Camouflage paint included, so the enemy can’t see how much fun we’re having.

Recruit FAQ

What everyone asks before signing. The Colonel has reviewed the answers. Unfortunately.

What kind of game is it?

An incremental artillery game in pixel art. Your units fire on their own, you finish the job with the SHOT! reticles and shoot down whatever is thrown at you. With your earnings you buy units, ammo and talents, and charge back in stronger. Between battles, you manage your HQ Base.

Is it pay to win?

No. Loot crates and paints are earned by playing and are not sold for real money. The full edition is paid once and that’s it.

Does it have ads?

The full edition, none. The free one (Google Play only) has rewarded ads, which you only watch if you want, and an ad when moving from one world to the next.

Does it progress if I close the game?

No. Your artillery fires on its own while you play, but the front freezes when you close. The shareholders call it “strategic pause.”

What is Endless mode?

It unlocks after completing the campaign: random worlds, new bosses and a war that never ends. After each world you pick 1 of 3 command cards, and carry up to 5 at once. The name says it all.

Which platforms is it on?

PC, on Steam, and Android, on Google Play.

Which languages does it have?

English and Spanish, with every text translated, the Colonel’s jokes included.

When is it out and how much does it cost?

Date and price will be announced before launch. If you wishlist it on Steam or pre-register on Google Play, the store lets you know the day it launches.

Sign here, recruit. The shareholders already have.

Two editions, same front. Choose whether you pay with money or with ads.

Victory isn’t for sale here. Loot crates and paints are earned by playing, never with real money.
